Air Force suspends coach Joe Scott during player-treatment probe

Downing-Imagn Images Air Force men's basketball coach Joe Scott has been suspended indefinitely amid an investigation into the treatment of cadet-athletes, the school announced Saturday.
No further details about the probe were released.
"In response to today's action, I will fully cooperate with the investigation and look forward to a proper resolution of this matter," Scott said in a statement. "I will not have any further comment until the matter is resolved."
Assistant coach Jon Jordan will take over as the interim head coach of the Falcons, who will host Nevada on Saturday in a Mountain West Conference game. Air Force (3-14, 0-6) have lost 10 straight games.
Scott, 60, is in the sixth season of his second tenure with the Falcons. His first stint was four seasons (2000-04). Overall, he has coached the team to a 97-183 record.
