Anthony Edwards Told Charles Barkley To Bring His Ass To Minnesota
The Minnesota Timberwolves are heading to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2004.
After beating the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals, the Timberwolves successfully punched their ticket to battle for a spot in the NBA Finals. It’s been 20 years, two decades, since they've been on that stage.
And Charles Barkley admitted that he had not visited Minneapolis since that 2004 WCF series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards told Barkley to “bring ya ass” to Minnesota.
Barkley will be doing just that.
Edwards was far from phenomenal in Game 7 against the Nuggets. He had 16 points, seven assists and eight rebounds. But he was the heartbeat and leader that the Timberwolves needed.
Double teamed for most of the game, Edwards showed up when he was needed most, hitting big shots in the fourth quarter. He’s the future face of the NBA. He’s the engine behind this Wolves team.
And he’s the reason Barkley’s ass will be in Minneapolis for the first time in 20 years.
