Arsenal, England Owned By Rowdy Germans
Screencap via @EmanDaGoon Hot, steamy Europa League action kicks off this afternoon, and the formerly great Premier League club Arsenal’s first opponent will be the German Bundesliga’s FC Koln, whose fans took an approximately 600 kilometer trip on a Thursday in order to completely overtake the streets of London. These incredibly enthusiastic supporters turned Oxford Street into their own personal tailgate zone.
The BBC puts the number of traveling fans at 20,000, which, given the low morale for the home side, should give FC Koln plenty of energy as they try to pull off an upset.
God, I hope they’re not racist.
