Beat Writer's Leg Broken In Iowa State Court-Storming [UPDATE]
Iowa State fans stormed the court after the Cyclones beat in-state rival Iowa in Ames tonight, leading one beat writer to the hospital with a broken leg.
Des Moines Register reporter Randy Peterson’s own tweets suddenly fell silent as the game ended, while others noted his injury:
The Register reports Peterson suffered a compound leg fracture. You can see Peterson’s fate in the above video, in the bottom right corner of the court.
