Hall took a hard hit from Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo, exited, then returned for one shift before going back to the dressing room.
Chicago coach Luke Richardson said following the game that Hall is week-to-week.
After spending parts of the past three seasons with Boston, Hall was traded to the Blackhawks on June 26 along with forward Nick Foligno in exchange for Alec Regula and Ian Mitchell.
Hall, 31, tallied his first career point with the Blackhawks in the opening period on Wednesday, assisting rookie sensation Connor Bedard's first NHL goal.
The first overall pick in the 2010 draft, Hall has recorded 694 career points (264 goals, 430 assists) in 824 games. He is in his 14th NHL season.
