Brandon Browner Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Ex-Girlfriend's House, Threatening To Kill Her
source: La Verne Police Department Former NFL cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested in La Verne, Calif., yesterday after police say he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house, harmed her, threatened to kill her, and then stole from her.
According to the La Verne police department, officers responded to a report of a man breaking into a house through a locked window. The man fled the scene prior to officers arriving, but was eventually apprehended and identified as Browner. Police say Browner broke into the house and the prevented the woman who lives there, his ex-girlfriend, from leaving. He then physically harmed her and made threats to kill her before leaving the house with a $20,000 watch that belonged to her.
Police say Browner has been previously arrested for domestic violence, and that the victim had a restraining order against him. Browner, who last played in the NFL in 2015 as a member of the Saints, is currently being held and awaiting felony charges.
