Braves re-sign RHP Tyler Kinley

Kinley is set to earn $3 million this season; the Braves will hold a $5.5 million club option for 2027 with a $1.25 million buyout.
The 34-year-old has eight years of MLB experience, logging 342 games with a 4.75 ERA. In 2018, he played for both the Minnesota Twins and Miami Marlins during his rookie campaign. He joined the Colorado Rockies in 2020 and went on to appear in 253 games for the organization.
Last season, the right-hander had a 5.66 ERA and 1.448 WHIP in 49 games for the Rockies. He was traded to the Braves in late July.
The veteran immediately benefited from playing outside of Coors Field. In Atlanta, he had a 0.72 ERA and 0.680 WHIP in 24 games.
