Bucks Guard Sterling Brown Arrested And Tased By Milwaukee Police
Photo: Aaron Gash/ [object Object] Bucks rookie Sterling Brown was subdued with a taser and arrested in the parking lot of a Milwaukee Walgreens early this morning, after cops claim he had parked his car across a pair of handicap spots. News/Talk 1130 first reported the arrest, and apparently cops were writing Brown a ticket when he allegedly confronted them. According to a police statement, “Officers spoke with a 22-year-old male and during the incident an electronic control device was deployed and the man was arrested. The circumstances of the incident and the use of force are currently being reviewed by the Department.”
Milwaukee cops didn’t release Brown’s name, though both News/Talk 1130 and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel confirmed he was arrested for resisting arrest, and the Bucks put out a statement confirming that they were looking into it. This is Brown’s first season in the NBA, and he’s averaging 11.5 minutes per game in the 21 games he’s played in.
