Chicago Leaves It Late, But Two Goals In Two Minutes Gets The Job Done

Just two minutes later, Antoine Vermette took advantage of a botched clearance to fire home from perfect position in front of the net:
For those in favor of bold, attacking hockey, the result might be seen as a karmic comeuppance for Tampa Bay, who sat on their slim one-goal margin and retreated into a shell for most of the third period. In the 13:28 before Teravainen tied it at 1-1, the Lightning only attempted a solitary shot. Tampa Bay has lost home ice advantage, but considering they’re 5-6 at Amalie Arena during the playoffs and 7-3 away from it, they’re probably not too concerned.
