A sacrifice bunt from Roberto Pérez during a tie game in the bottom of the ninth inning was able to score Brandon Guyer from second, thanks to an error from Boston first baseman Brock Holt, who faltered after fielding the ball and then threw it wide of third baseman Rafael Devers:
