Mills, 31, is set to make his Dodgers debut after he signed as a free agent with the club in August upon his release by the Boston Red Sox. Mills was 3-2 with a 3.26 ERA in 14 relief appearances at Oklahoma City this season. He recorded 28 strikeouts versus seven walks over 19 1/3 innings.
Mills, who last pitched in the major leagues in 2022, is 0-1 with a 6.21 ERA in 38 big league relief appearances with the Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals. He missed two full seasons after needing Tommy John surgery in 2023.
Gervase, 25, made his season debut with the Dodgers on Saturday and gave up one run over three innings with five strikeouts. In seven career big league appearances, all over the past two seasons, he has a 3.97 ERA.
