FSU Beats Notre Dame Thanks To Penalty On Winning Irish Touchdown
Notre Dame did everything right to beat Florida State in Tallahassee tonight, except for the part where they ran an illegal play for what would have been the winning touchdown.
The pass interference penalty on the pick play, while a correct call, is rarely seen—and from how the Irish offense executed the play, it seems Brian Kelly was counting on the officials turning a blind eye. They didn't, and Florida State's winning streak extends to 23.
