Golden Tate Humiliates Three Vikings Defenders, Scores In Overtime
Golden Tate clowned three Vikings defenders on his way to a 28-yard touchdown which gave the Lions a 22-16 overtime win over Minnesota.
The Vikings had achieved a fourth-quarter lead with 23 seconds left on a Rhett Ellison rushing touchdown, but the Lions forced the game to overtime with a drive that ended in 58-yard field goal from kicker Matt Prater.
The Lions got the ball first in OT and ate up the clock with an 11-play, 87-yard drive that ended with Tate’s score. Detroit QB Matt Stafford threw to Tate on third and eight. The receiver stayed in bounds, shook off Xavier Rhodes, broke a tackle by Harrison Smith, and jumped into Andrew Sendejo as he tumbled into the end zone.
Sendejo really had the worst experience out of the three Vikings who failed to take down Tate. Losing the game is tough. Losing the game as your opponent jumps butt-first into your face is even worse.
