Lamar Jackson Remains Ridiculous
Photo Credit: [object Object] That Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is having an unreal season was already apparent—13 touchdowns and 1,015 total yards of offense in your first two games will make that clear, even if said games aren’t against particularly tough competition. That Lamar Jackson is potentially a demigod of some sort, a man playing among boys, became apparent in Saturday’s 63-20 win over Florida State.
Jackson had five touchdowns and 362 total yards as the #10 Cardinals made the #2 Seminoles look very, very silly in just about every way—the first time any Florida State team has ever given up more than 60 points.
He ran in Louisville’s first touchdown less than three minutes into the game...
...and ran in another before the first quarter was over, following up in the second by connecting with Jaylen Smith to put Louisville up 28-10 and then running in one himself to stretch the lead to 25 by halftime.
With Louisville up 49-10 to start the fourth, Jackson ran 47 yards for another score before calling it a day and coming out of the game.
Adding up to an absurd 18 touchdowns on the season for Jackson, and the worst loss by a team ranked number two since 1945 for Florida State.
