Lively has missed the past two games. He will re-evaluated in seven to 10 days.
The 7-foot-1 Lively was bothered by the same foot last season when he was limited to 36 games. He underwent offseason surgery to remove bone spurs from the foot.

His last appearance was Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans when he had four points and four rebounds in 18 minutes.
Lively, the No. 12 overall selection of the 2023 NBA Draft, has career averages of 8.4 points and 7.0 rebounds in 98 games (75 starts) over three seasons. He has made a stellar 72.8% of his shots from the field.
The Mavericks (5-14) opened a four-game road trip with a 106-102 loss to the Miami Heat on Monday night.
