Meet Chris Heroman
This image was lost some time after publication. Everything about Chris Heroman is worthy of worship. Look at that name: Hero, Man! According to USA Today, Heroman is a student at Louisiana State University who, on a whim, decided to declare himself eligible for the NBA Draft. Heroman says he's forgoing his final year of college eligibility — though, having never actually played for LSU, he technically has four years of eligibility — and is "serious" about the Draft, even though he's six-foot-three and hasn't played organized ball since 2000 ... in high school. (His old coach guesses he averaged six points a game. Tops.) We think this is amazing, fantastic, glorious: We want to declare for the draft too! We'll forgo our eligility! Hell, if Heroman can make the transaction pages, so can we!
