The 31-year-old Canadian veteran replaces Pedro Gallese, who was not re-signed after the 2025 season.
Crepeau spent the past two seasons with the Portland Timbers, recording four clean sheets in 35 starts.
"Maxime is a proven goalkeeper with a championship pedigree and a wealth of experience at the highest levels," Orlando general manager and sporting director Ricardo Moreira said. "He's an MLS Cup and Supporters' Shield winner, a former MLS Goalkeeper of the Year finalist and a Canadian international who brings leadership, professionalism and composure to our squad."
Crepeau won the MLS Cup and the Supporters' Shield with Los Angeles FC in 2022.
He has 27 shutouts in 135 career MLS starts with CF Montreal (2017), the Vancouver Whitecaps (2019-21), LAFC (2022-23) and Portland.
Internationally, he has earned 29 caps for Canada and is challenging Inter Miami's Dayne St. Clair for the starting job at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
