Phillies' Kyle Schwarber returns to lineup vs. Guardians

Schwarber, who was sidelined due to illness, is batting second in the lineup behind Trea Turner and in front of Bryce Harper. Schwarber will serve as the team's designated hitter.
Signed to a five-year, $150 million contract in the offseason, Schwarber is batting .230 with a majors-best 20 homers to go along with 36 RBIs.
Schwarber led the National League with 56 homers and topped the majors with 132 RBIs last season. The three-time All-Star batted .240 with 111 runs and finished second in the NL Most Valuable Player voting.
Schwarber, 33, is established as one of the top power bats in the majors. He has hit 207 homers in his four-plus seasons with the Phillies and 360 in a career that began with the Chicago Cubs in 2015.
