Rays Broadcaster Todd Kalas Chokes Up While Reporting Don Zimmer's Death
The passing of MLB lifer Don Zimmer was announced in the middle of numerous baseball games, but the report by Rays broadcaster Todd Kalas stuck out in particular for being so damn sad.
Kalas has worked for the Rays since their first season, and Zimmer had been a baseball advisor for Tampa Bay since 2004. Kalas called the news of Zimmer's death "my least favorite report" in his 17 years with the team.
Kalas also paid his respects on Twitter.
