Report: Bills re-signing S Sam Franklin Jr. to 3-year deal

The deal is worth up to $7.5 million and includes $5 million in the first two seasons for the six-year veteran, per the report.
Franklin, who turned 30 earlier this month, played 329 of his 335 total snaps on special teams for Buffalo in 2025 and recorded 13 tackles in 17 games.
Undrafted out of Temple in 2020, Franklin has totaled 118 tackles, one sack, one interception and one forced fumble in 91 games (nine starts) with the Carolina Panthers (2020-24) and Bills. He had a 99-yard pick-six against the Minnesota Vikings in 2023.
