The NBA's all-time leading scorer has missed the Los Angeles Lakers' first 11 games this season while dealing with sciatica on his right side.
The Lakers announced last Thursday that the 40-year-old forward had been cleared to resume basketball activities as he moves closer to starting his NBA-record 23rd season.
James averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game last season. A 21-time All-Star, four-time Most Valuable Player and four-time NBA champion, James has scored 42,184 points and ranks second all-time in games played (1,562) behind Robert Parish (1,611).
