Per the report, Odum needs surgery and faces a recovery period of two-to-four months after sustaining the injury during Thursday night's win at Seattle.
The shorter end of that window leaves open the possibility of a return during a deep playoff run for the 49ers, who improved to 8-3 with the 31-13 win over the Seahawks.
Odum, 30, has recorded 12 tackles in 11 games this season. An All-Pro selection in 2020 with Indianapolis, he has 184 tackles and three interceptions in 93 games (10 starts) with the Colts (2018-21) and 49ers.
