Roof Leak Delays Rockets-Wizards Game In D.C.
The Verizon Center sprung a leak this evening because Washington, like much of the east coast, has been under a blanket of rain and this is the result: a basketball rain delay.
The roof began leaking water just as the second quarter got under way and caused a delay of roughly 45 minutes. There was a lot of standing around and looking up at the ceiling. But D.C. is a political town, they know how snap into action down there. Like Emanuel and Churchill before him, the Wizards never let a good crisis go to waste.
