Saints Fan Arrested After Allegedly Shoving Bears Chairman To The Ground
Police arrested Richard Kohnke, a 58-year-old lawyer and New Orleans Saints fan, after he allegedly got into a physical altercation with Bears chairman George McCaskey last night at Soldier Field. If there's one way surefire way to get arrested at a football game, it's by shoving the chairman of the home team.
According to police, the altercation began when McCaskey accused Kohnke of sitting in his seat (I'm not sure how the hell some random guy got into McCaskey's seats, but whatever). The two argued for a bit, and McCaskey eventually left to get stadium security. That's when Kohnke decided to strike ( from the Chicago Tribune):
As McCaskey walked away, Richard Kohnke, 58, went after him and pushed McCaskey in the back, according to police and the team. A Bears fan then tackled Kohnke, who pushed McCaskey to the ground, according to the team.
All NFL fans are bad.
