Smallest Fish Wins Fishing Competition
So, I learned this today: apparently there are fishing competitions where the winning fish is decided by most spots, not by weight. But, to qualify as an actual fish, and not a fish niblet, it has to meet the state minimum for length. In Florida, redfish have to be 18 inches.
Those three happy fellows above caught a redfish this weekend t hat measured in at — not a millimeter more. It qualified, and with its 27 spots blowing away the second place fish, a 17-spotter, they pocketed $7,500 bucks. The fish looks forward to its future role as two, maybe two-and-a-half fish sticks.
