This Gerrit Cole Pitch Is Just Too Much

In the bottom of the first inning of last night’s game against the White Sox, Gerrit Cole struck out Adam LaRoche on a 98-mph fastball. That description doesn’t really do the pitch justice, though. Please spend a few minutes staring at the GIF above.

The movement on that sucker! Look at where the pitch was just a few feet in front of the plate:

How is anyone supposed to deal with that?
