Thomas Robinson's Block Sends Out Shockwaves Of Awesome
Here's a good example of a thing that is particularly cool about the NBA: the way one spectacular play can set off a chain reaction of events that crescendos with an entire arena losing its collective mind.
We start off with Robinson's block, which was so vicious and perfectly timed that it seems impossible that it was executed in real time. The block leads us to a fast break on the other end, the end of which the crowd and Blazers bench can see coming from a mile away. Then we get the alley-oop, and everyone's hysteria reaches an apex. Robin Lopez enters a fugue state. Thomas Robinson gets T'ed up. The Wolves call timeout. Everything is awesome.
