Vitality, PARAVISION in grand final of PGL Cluj-Napoca playoffs

Team Vitality and PARAVISION swept their single-elimination semifinal matches in the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 playoffs Saturday in Romania.

The $625,000 Counter-Strike 2 tournament began Feb. 14 with 16 teams and concludes Sunday with the winning team taking home a top prize of $225,000. All matches are best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final.

Team Vitality swept The MongolZ 2-0 and PARAVISION matched that score against MOUZ to advance to Sunday's grand final. The MongolZ and MOUZ will face off in the third-place match Sunday.

Team Vitality worked overtime to post a 16-13 win on Mirage, then closed out the victory over The MongolZ with a 13-3 triumph on Dust II. Estonia's Robin "ropz" Kool paced Vitality with 43 kills and a plus-19 kill-death differential. Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch led the all-Mongolian MongolZ with 32 kills and a negative-3 K-D differential.

PARAVISION notched a pair of close wins, 13-11 on Dust II and 13-10 on Inferno, to eliminate MOUZ. Dzhami "Jame" Ali led the winners with 35 kills and a plus-9 K-D differential. For MOUZ, Adam "torzsi" Torzsas of Hungary posted his team's lone plus K-D differential with 34 kills and 30 deaths.
